Roofers Liverpool

I contacted a number of roofing companies, in regard to a roof repair. Without doubt Childwall Roofing Company Ltd, where at the top of the tree. They came out to inspect the job for free, providing a comprehensive and detailed quote in regard to the work required. They then, carried out the work within three days of my acceptance of the quote. Their team was professional, courteous and carried out the work proficiently and with great care. Thanks to John the owner and Ritchie who completed the job. Would recommend this company to anyone requiring roofing repairs.

Sent young man round to view, then never replied to any of my emails, or texts, apologised first time for not replying and said he was on holiday, then did it again

Great service from John and the team. Professional work and good communications throughout, would definitely recommend. Thanks

Felt a bit dubious contacting a Roofing company for my 87 year old Mum, as you hear of lots of horror stories. Wasn’t disappointed with John and his team.
Excellent communications from start to finish.
Honest trustworthy guys! Would defo recommend

John and his team were great. New flat roof complete in under 2 days. Would 100% recommend. Thanks again

Having been badly let down by another roofing company it was with some trepidation that I sought out someone to rectify the poor workmanship of others and to do some new work to my bay and parapets. I needn’t have worried, from the outset Childwall roofing was responsive and professional. The communication was thorough and the guys who did the work did so with pride and were a pleasure to host. With so many cowboys about, it was pleasing to engage with a firm with a focus on doing a good job for a fair price.

John's team did a fantastic job of re covering my flat roof extension , used the best materials and the attention to detail and the finish was brilliant I'll be using them again and would highly recommend

Childwall Roofing have done a great job on our problematic roof. They explained everything in detail giving us a clear quote. They turned up prompt and worked well and hard, they were polite and cleaned up any mess at the end of the working day. Highly recommend them.

Quick to quote and very attentive. Full reroof completed, would definitely recommend the services provided at Childwall Roofing.

Very satisfied with Childwall Roofing. Efficient work, understood my requirements, and kept up good communication. Would recommend.

Booked childwall roofing to do a job on my chimney stack. Birds nesting, mortar crumbling, and the lead flashing degrading . Scaffolding went up when promised and the following week Richie came to do the work. Took 4.5days and all went to plan. Work looks good, everything clean and tidy. Pleased with good communication with John who kept me informed as to progress and at completion with photo evidence of the work done. Overall well pleased

Excellent! John was great with communications. Quick, responsive, clear and turned the job around super fast. No hesitation taking again or recommending.

As a Company, totally oblivious of Environmental Health Guidlines. Working in "Residential Limedale Road" they totally ignore the working times set. Worked beyond the Saturday 1pm finish and totally ignored the "Non Sunday Work" Guideline. Angle Grinders used incessantly to cut Tiles and the Hammering of Tiles into Lathes persistently. As a Company, obviously Not Aware Such Actions can carry a £20K Fine.

Friendly staff and professional service. Good, clear and prompt communication. Accommodating to changing needs.Work completed to high standard. Many thanks!

Excellent job carried out by Childwall Roofing a complete new flat roof system ,the lads were very helpful and polite as was the communication between myself and the company owner, would definitely recommend Childwall Roofing

We definitely made the right choice choosing Childwall Roofing Company Ltd for work to waterproof and tile our front bay. John and his team were always helpful, knowledgeable and professional throughout. All work completed to a very high standard.

Great job. Fixed our problem promptly and have followed up to ensure the problem didn’t persist. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience in repairing my elderly Mum's roofing. John was very accommodating in scheduling the work in difficult circumstances. Work was done promptly and end result was very neat and thorough. Scaffolding also well organised both for erection and removal. All in all a very professional and stress free experience.

Would really recommend this company, so easy to communicate with. Experts and professional they sorted our leak clearly explaining what the problem was with photos. They completed the work to a high standard and were always friendly and helpful. This is the second time I've used the company and if we need anything else we will continue to use them!

I had a great experience with childwall roofing . I had a leak coming from the roof and I called them and they came out within 24hrs. All workmen were professional and nothing was too much trouble . The leak got fixed and the price was reasonable. Would highly recommend. I was also given a full guarantee for the work carried out.

We made the right choice choosing Chillwall roofing to rake out & repoint our chimney stack, also to replace all led work, & re- bed the ridge tiles, and also replace 3 cracked roof tiles, John made it all very easy for us with his excellent communication skills, from the putting up of the scaffolding to the final job of clearing out the gutters after the roof work was completed, Dean who carried out the work was professional from start to finish, nothing was to much for him, he was a true gent, so I would highly recommend TRUSTING this roofing company to complete any work you may require.

Storm damaged roof left us with a leak in the bedroom ceiling. Out within 24 hours of call to check, Scaffolding up in 72 hours and Roof Repaired on a Saturday! Great service and would never hesitate to recommend. A+++

We are really pleased with the work we had done. New EPDM roof on the bay, work on ridge tiles, chimney pots and roof cleaning. The roof looks like new! John was great, always ready to answer any questions. We would definitely use them again.

Hi after a year of being scammed by rogue roofers and unsuccessful outcomes. I was finally recommended by my daughter who had a flat roof replaced by Childwall Roofing Company. I had my back roof replaced this month. I'm very happy with the outcome the workmanship ,professionalism and communication was first class. I totally recommend this company and its workers.

Would really recommend this company, so easy to communicate with, completed our job when we were really up against it moving house and got everything done in time, going the extra mile to do so. Have recommended to family and they have had similar positive experiences.

Had a poor experience with these. Cracked slates from scaffold not replaced nor the manager admitted it was their fault, when I had clear evidence. Poor communication. Very expensive. I will never use again. Update: Additional to the broken slate issue, I have recently ungone an independant roof survey which has revealed the work done on the bay roof by Childwall is substandard. The bay window was replaced with a melt welded bituminous membrane deemed only suitable for outbuildings such as stables. The outlet was covered over and rainwater now drips off the roof onto the pavement below. No edge drip, the membrane should overhang the roof perimetre by approx 50mm. This now needs replacing with lead sheet and outlet renovated.

Fantastic service and great company to deal with from start to finish very professional and. Outstanding work would highly recommend them thanks John and team for my fantastic new roof x

We are delighted with the work done by Childwall Roofers. They are a great professional team, very efficient and tidy workers. They took the chimney stack down and repaired the roof very quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Their work is guaranteed

Responded quickly to a leak and completed the work to prevent any further issues. Guys were friendly and explained everything, would highly recommend.

Great experience with Childwall Roofing Company! Communicated was easy and clear, and works were carried out in a timely manner.

Contacted John for quotes for replacement bay roof and repair to rear roof. Quick response and work booked in. John and his team were very professional, and tidy with all rubbish removed afterwards Was informed by pictures of different stages of work process. I would highly recommend John and his team for being professional, reliable, friendly and very easy to deal with. Thanks John and the lads, would highly recommend your team to others

This is the second time I’ve used Childwall Roofing as I cannot fault their professionalism and service. After a flat roof leak, they provided a quick and thorough quote; giving us options to suit us and our budget. Our work began later than planned but we were kept in the loop at all times. They’ve done a fantastic job and worked so hard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Thank you!

I have tried various roofing companies in South Liverpool over recent years for my repairs on my rental properties and the work previously carried out has not been to a good standard. I came across Childwall Roofing online and I was very impressed by their reviews. I had a leak on a flat roof at the top of the property and needed it fixing at the earliest opportunity as new tenants had just moved in. They are probably the best company I’ve dealt with in a long time; efficient, professional, slick, easy to deal with and great value for money. John the contracts manager was particularly fantastic during the whole process and kept regularly updated. John provided an excellent service from start to finish and the replacement roof was completely within a week from initial contact, which was perfect when you have leak. If you are in need of a roof repair (or you need a new roof), then I cannot recommend Childwall Roofing Company more highly! Thanks John (and Co)

The craftsmanship and workmanship were outstanding, they restored my Victorian roof to the highest standard. You are kept informed from start to finish of the repair work and that includes before and after pictures. Plus the whole are supportive and friendly. It is my pleasure to recommend Childwall Roofing and Master Builders

I called Childwall Roofing to see if they could fix a leak in my conservatory roof that I’d had for ages. John came out and assessed the work on the Monday and by the weekend it had all been sorted. Fast response, good price and nothing was too much trouble and I have already recommended them to a friend.

I cannot fault the Childwall Roofing Company. From the moment I enquired about fixing a flat bay roof, they were around to give a quote straight away. Then the quote came the next day and the repair was booked in. The staff were on time, helpful, friendly and I was shown pictures of the work done. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again!

It was a harrowing time finding the right company to install a new roof on our house. I certainly made the right decision with Childwall roofing. John and his team were amazing. They were so professional, respectful of us and our property, Arrived promptly each day. Cleaned up the area at the end of each day. Dean, Chris,John and Phil were a delight. Outstanding Job thank you all. I would not hesitate in recommending Childwall Roofing.

I spotted some water coming into my loft and gave Childwall Roofing a call. They came out to inspect the roof swiftly. Came back down with pictures of the problem. (A brick fallen off the chimney had broken tiles) They offered a quote the next day, took an online deposit and the scaffold went up the day after The work was done quickly and effectively,,, solving the problem. Friendly, effective, professional. Happy to recommend them

Called this company Wednesday for a quote for a leak in my Liverpool property. Was told to a quote would be given within 24 hours. None given. Called thurs. Promised it ll be Friday. None given. Sent text reminder Friday evening, no reply until Monday asking who I was despite several sms messages above in conversation explaining who I was. Monday came and I spoke with Geraldine twice who promised a quote by 12pm. 12 30 came - no quote. Called again to be told by close of business. Now 5pm and despite me reminding 2pm by text nothing. If this is how they treat genuine interested customers I would hate to see how their service is should the job have gone wrong. No idea where these reviews have come from. Very suspect. I was nothing but polite and they didn't care less. Too many lies for me to take so I'm warning others.

John responded very quickly and sent someone out to inspect the old chimney stack. Effective diagnosis and then I was prioritised for repair due to inclement weather. The job was done quickly and professionally and the guys were very courteous. Definitely recommended.

This is the second time I’ve used Childwall Roofing as I had a really positive experience with a roof repair at my previous property. I asked for a quote as the chimney breast was showing signs of damp upstairs so I was visited within a day and my roof was assessed. A few days later I had a quote emailed through. Really smooth process from initial contact through to scaffold arrangements and the repairs taking place. Happy that my roof will now be in good shape especially over the coming winter months. Another really positive customer experience and I would happily recommend Childwall Roofing Company to anyone. Thanks John and Sean for the work

I got the felt roof replaced to the bay window, I am abroad in Australia and I was able to organise this easily. I used WhatsApp for messaging and photos, they were very organised and helpful.

We have used the Childwall Roofing Company to carry out general roof maintenance and repair and to install a velux. Our experience has been positive and stress free from the moment I contacted John. They arrived when they said they would, carried out the work to a high standard and made sure we were kept informed throughout. All the guys were professional, hard-working, polite and made sure they cleared up after every job. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again or to recommend them.

Had a flat roof repaired and gutters redone due to lots of damp coming through the front of my house. The work done was great and has solved all the problems. Great communication from John, kept me updated regularly while I was at work. Would recommend!

Can't recommend Childwall Roofing enough. John was responsive, professional and the quality of the work was done to a very high standard. They are a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for all your help John.

After several poor jobs from other local companies, Childwall fixed my gutters and did an amazing job, They where lovely and friendly, Did a great job, reasonably priced an turn up on time, keeping me informed throughout, I'm really happy with the service an would 100% recommend. Thank you. 5*

Recently had my business roof repaired to a high standard after having it patched up by previous firms. From start to finish there where pictures and updates of all the work carried out. Only then I realised the work was on another level, 100 percent will use again for any future repairs.

Longstanding issue around chimney stack. Also fixed some gutter issues. Very informative, re-done some really poor work around the chimney stack that had been done previously by another roofer. Got me up there to show me exactly the issues and repairs. Very happy with the guarantee. So far so good. thanks John and Dean.

John and his team were professional in every aspect of the job and always kept me advised of progress. The job needed to be completed quickly and John kept to his word that it would happen. Reliable, dependable and thoroughly professional - I was very pleased with the job. I highly recommend them for all roofing/chimney work.

Like to say big thanks to John and his team come and repair my pouch roof fantastic work they did top quality family run business would recommend to any one you won’t be disappointed with the quality of work they do thanks Derek 👌👍

First rate job from a first rate company. We had a dry ridge system fitted. John came out promptly to quote for the job. We got three quotes in total but were impressed by John so gave the job to Childwall Roofing. The work was carried out by Chris and John without delay and they took great pride in their work - nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. Thanks. Nicky and Steve.

I have been using Childwall Roofing for a couple of years after several failed repairs to my roof. They quickly identified and successfully repaired the problem so I have used them ever since. Having an old Victorian property means finding companies who will work quickly and at heights is not always easy but Childwall Roofing have never let me down.

Childwall roofers were really great, have fitted a top quality concrete tile roof on our house. John the project manager was on hand 24/7 to answer any questions we had, and explained all the details really well. Liam and the crew who did the roof were superb, great attention to detail and workmanship, as well as polite and tidy guys. All aspects of the re-roofing job were organised seemlessly, from the skip, to the scaffold to the delivery of materials on site. I recommend these guys extremely highly. Thanks for the great work! 👍👍 Unfortunately we have had several issues with the roof since it was done, Childwall have been very good with honouring their works guarantee but a bit disappointed to be having problems with a new roof within the first few months of being fitted.

Excellent, professional and trustworthy service from start to finish. John was really helpful and gave detailed written quote with photographs. Advised on best course of action for our budget. Came on time and the men who did the job were polite and courteous at all times. High quality workmanship and cleared up fully when finished. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again if needed any roofing work.
